Lightstreamer Supports real-time HTML Charts for "thin client" browsers

Milan, Italy -- July 6, 2005 -- Lightstreamer, the innovative web push engine for live data distribution, adds live charting to its existing RIA capabilities for HTML thin clients and is the first to offer a solution for real-time push charts in pure HTML/JavaScript. Now it is possible to create real-time intraday charts and plot them on any browser without the need to download applets, ActiveX, Flash components, plug-ins, or install anything else on the client. This should prove to be another important feature for anyone who needs to publish and distribute real-time financial market data to a wide audience (both professional and retail) via the Internet, without the associated support burden of "thick clients' and downloads. Some charting demos that highlight these features are available at www.lightstreamer.com/demo (choose "Chart Demo" or "Stock List Demo").

About Lightstreamer
Lightstreamer was originally developed by the Financial Systems Integration activity of privately held Par-Tec SpA group (founded in 1998). In 2004 a separate company was formed within the group as an 'ISV' to provide Lightstreamer 'Push' middleware solutions for streaming real-time Market Data, or any live information, to web browsers and custom application clients. Lightstreamer is compatible with most major and minor browsers on the market, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Netscape, Safari etc.
