Mobile Browsers

IPhone and Android work great.

It appears from our test that current gen blackberries (pre Torch) do not work.

BB Native Browser: No
BB Opera: No. Current versions route through Opera servers which terminate all scripts.
BB Bolt: No. Same as above.

Anyone seeing anything different or know of a different browser we can recommend?

These are the mobile browsers that have shown to work for us until now:

iPhone/iPad Browser
Platforms: Apple iPhone - Apple iPad

Android Browser
Platforms: Android smartphones

Opera Mobile/Mini
Platforms: Android - BlackBerry - iPhone/iPod/iPad - Symbian S60 - Windows Mobile
(the latest version of Opera Browser, both Mobile and Mini, does look to support streaming, even through Opera servers).

Nokia Web Browser
Platforms: Symbian S60

Other minor browsers: Skyfire, Nintendo DS Browser, Mozilla Fennec, Ozone

The new version of the BlackBerry browser, hopefully available later this year, should be based on WebKit and be finally compatible with streaming and advanced JavaScript.

Interesting, we are getting just hangs when our mobile blackberry users test it. I'll try whipping up a simpler demo for them to try out.
