Dojo Demo Released

A Dojo Demo has been released. It shows how Lightstreamer can be used to deliver real-time data to a Dojo-based AJAX application. The demo uses the Dojo Toolkit widget FilteringTable to display the real-time events generated by Lightstreamer Server.

Hi,

I created a domain called test.lightstreamer.com on my test webserver (with an entry in my hosts file). In this webroot I unzipped all the files mentioned in the documentation of the demo. When I start index.html I see quotes but no chart is coming up. Firebug reports an error in dojo.js line 192:


ret[0] has no properties
[Break on this error] uri+="?"+String(djConfig.cacheBust).replace(/\W+/g,"");


Any ideas why it will not work? I think I have not the right Dojo-Toolkit. I tried dojo-0.4.0-ajax.zip and dojo-0.4.1-ajax.zip. Can someone from Lightstreamer send me the Dojoversion from the demo?

Smartboy, you are right. We have had a confirmation that the current Dojo distributions (both 4.0 and 4.1) are affected by that issue, while the Dojo library that is integrated in our demo is a patched version.

We are waiting from Dojo for an official patch to be applied to the current distribution and to know the release date of the next official distribution that will already include the fix.

I'm happy to announce that the latest Dojo toolkit distribution ( 0.4.3 ) is now fixed and compatible with the downloadable demo.

Since the filtertable is no longer it would be nice to see a demo using either a datagrid or enhancedgrid in 1.5.

I am having dificulties get one to work with the bridge. :confused:

A brand new Dojo demo, compatible with the newest version of Dojo will be available soon! It should be a matter of a few weeks.
