The downloaded application is a DDE Server that receives real-time stock quotes from Lightstreamer Server through the Internet and delivers it to any DDE-enabled application that is running on the PC.

Typically, the data is sent to an Excel spreadsheet, to feed it with real-time updates.

Launch the DDE Server (by clicking on the button to the right) then click on the button that will apper in the DDE Server window. The subscription info will be copied into the clipboard. Paste the info into an Excel sheet and enjoy the real-time data.
