Four editions of
Lightstreamer are available. For detailed information
regarding their features, please see the
product section. Lightstreamer
Moderato can be used free of charge for any legal service or
product, whether free or commercial (learn more...).
For Lightstreamer Allegro/Presto/Vivace you can choose
between two different licensing models: the "Per Server License" and
the "Site License", explained below. In both cases, only a one-time (up-front) licensing fee is due, with no annual license usage fees,
except for the standard support and maintenance.

| Per-Server License |
With the "Per
Server License" model, one license is required for each
Production server machine running Lightstreamer Server,
irrespective of the number of CPUs and concurrent users.

| Site License |
With the "Site
License" model, one license is purchased to
install Lightstreamer Server on an arbitrary number of server machines
located on a single geographical site. This means that all the
machines can be in different offices but must be based at the
same postal address.
The cost of the site license fee is composed of a fixed part
and a variable part.
The cost of the variable part is determined by the
maximum number of concurrent Lightstreamer sessions.
Each session corresponds to a user connected to the cluster of Lightstreamer
Servers via a client application (client applications can be either Web pages
or desktop applications).
Different session packs are available to purchase.
It is possible to install stand-by mirror sites at
different geographical locations, for business continuity and
disaster recovery. The cost of each stand-by mirror site license
is included in the Active Site license fee.

| Support & Maintenance |
The Support &
Maintenance option provides product
support, corrective maintenance, version upgrades and discounts
for new products. The annual Support & Maintenance fee is
calculated as a percentage of the List price for the
purchased licenses. Support & Maintenance is not
available for Lightstreamer Moderato. |
