1) Download a distribution of Lightstreamer Allegro/Presto/Vivace:

By downloading a distribution you agree to the terms of the Software License Agreement.

2) Extract the content of the downloaded archive to your hard drive (need to know how to extract the archive?).

3) To start Lightstreamer Server, you need a proper License. To get an EVAL license, see the section below. Other license types exist (DEMO, DEV, PROD). Learn more about the available license types.

4) Follow the GETTING_STARTED.TXT file instructions (located in the root folder of your installation) to complete the configuration.

Get Your Evaluation License Now

An Evaluation License gives you the possibility to try the Lightstreamer software for free for 60 days (if you need an extension, please contact us).

You can choose the edition to evaluate (Allegro, Presto, or Vivace) and change it at any time by editing the <lightstreamer_edition> element in the lightstreamer_conf.xml configuration file.

By clicking on the link above you will receive your personal ClientID , needed to run Lightstreamer Server.

In order to check the license validity and enable its use, Lightstreamer Server will need to perform a connection to our license servers through the Internet once a day.
